Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

oversee the day-to-day monitoring, maintaining and updating of the finance systems, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of new systems and control frameworks.
Develop a new integrated organisationwide financial reporting system combining multiple projects, donors and locations.
Develop cost and income forecasting models which can be used to manage expenses, project planning and adjust result projection.
Revise organisation annual budgeting system in line with above
Develop standardised internal financial reporting system /dashboards for MAM projects and clinics
Develop standardised donor financial reporting templates for MAM projects and clinics
Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with MAM financial accounting system (QuickBooks) and its export functions. Suggest changes/improvements if necessary.
Setup improved systems for allocation of expenditure to various donors;
Perform financial data analysis to ensure systems are operating properly and are in line with donor requirements
Support Finance teams in monthly closing process and analysis

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 10 years’ of professional experience in a similar role.
INGO’s experience preferred but not essential
Knowledge of complex financial systems and accounting in international development context
Strong analytical skills, pro-active and able to work independently
Fluent in English, both oral and written
Deep knowledge of Accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
