Job Description

Develop and execute financial strategies to support trading operations and business growth.
Create financial models and forecasts to guide decision-making and assess potential risks and opportunities.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and market risks associated with trading activities.
Prepare and manage the trading division's annual budget.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
Coordinate with external auditors as necessary.
Lead a team of finance professionals and traders, providing guidance and support.
Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Implement and maintain financial systems, tools, and technology to streamline trading operations.
Collaborate with other departments, such as risk management, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless trading operations.
Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, brokers, and other external partners.
Stay informed about financial markets, trading trends, and economic developments.
Use market analysis to make informed financial decisions and trading strategies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is often preferred.
Professional accounting qualifications recognized by a professional body
ACCA / CA / CPA (SINGAPORE/AUSTRALIA)
Extensive experience in financial management, with a strong background in trading or financial markets.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a large organization
Experience in managing a team and remote management
Experience presenting information and recommendation to management teams.
Proficiency with financial software and tools.
