Job Description

- Take ownership of enhancement and reviewing of credit policies, procedures, guidelines & standards in order to ensure to reflect the best practices and comply with the FRD regulatory.
- Manage Credit Department to ensure timely review and approval/disapproval of credit requests under Head office credit approval committee
- Develop methodologies for monitoring framework & measurement of Loan Portfolio management of all branches and report to EC member & Board on periodic period.
- Develop and enhance the Credit Reporting & Monitoring framework which meets the requirements of various external & internal stakeholders.
- Ensure diversification of loan portfolio, so that no one product accounts for a significantly disproportionate amount of the loan portfolio.
- Monitor & Manage to reduce PAR accounts across branches and prepare workout strategies & plan to take action.
- Set the KPI across branches in PAR reduction, disbursement, Portfolio maintenance, collection in order to improve the branches’ portfolio quality.
- Actively act as arrears committee member & manage bad debt accounts such potential write off & write off accounts to improve collection.
- Involvement in product development to reflect market requirement & release to improve the company profitability & substantially.
- Cooperate with different department & work with branches to solve the operational & credit related issues.

Job Requirements

- At least 5 years of Management Level experiences in Microfinance Institution.
- Any University Degree preferably in Management or relevant combination of academic qualifications;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills of Myanmar & English.
- Computer literacy and preferably expert in Microsoft Office package;
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and highly self-motivated
- Ability to facilitate the meeting, such as branch meeting and management meeting
- Able to travel through the Myanmar Country and branches.
- Flexible with Assignment Location (Temporary)
