Job Purpose:
• Implement and maintain all Human Resources Policies and Procedures in line with the organization’s philosophies and all relevant legal requirements.
• Ensure effectiveness of day to day running of the Human Resources Department for all properties and head office (Hospitality Division) by ensuring administration and people development systems, company policies and procedures are followed whilst maintaining a high degree of staff satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain all Human Resources Policies relating to recruitment, promotions, transfers, personnel administration, visas, work permits, industrial and employee relations.
• Recruiting and interviewing Department Head, Manager Level, Supervisory and section head level of staff and interviewing compared with current knowledge of labour market trends and the sourcing of possible candidates.
• Monitor salary and wage administration including the conducting of salary surveys on a regular basis to determine the position in the marketplace.
• Liaise with Managers, Department Heads and Payroll ensuring all paperwork is processed correctly and on time.
• Monitor and maintain effective probation and annual appraisal system for all staff.
• Ensure effective maintenance of accurate and confidential staff files.
• Conduct various staff activities including “all staff meetings” on a regular basis, and outings.
• Advise management and properties on Human Resources issues including employee and industrial relations matters.
• Maintain computerized applicant register and applicant files. Assist with categorizing submitted applications, including processing of standard correspondence for all applications.
• Control and administer internal and external vacancies, including preparation and drafting advertisements or working with recruitment agencies.
• Produces end of period HR reports.
• Update and maintain job descriptions and person specifications.
• Provide advice and assistance on Human Resources related matters to all staff as and when required.
• Ensure that all staff are updated on the communicated information and development of the company through different channels such as staff newsletter, notice boards, poster, signs and meetings.
• Lead in Workmen Compensation and Insurance Claims.
• Conduct exit interview with management level staff.
• Lead in orientation programs.
• Maintain manpower control report.
• Monitor period ends annual and sick leave reports to highlight trends.
• Administer Staff Opinion Survey and assist in addressing issues/concerns highlighted.
• Ensure job descriptions and person specifications are developed and updated on a regular basis for all positions.
• Responsible for ensuring recognition systems for staff and managers are in place.
• Develop and deliver training programs as and when required and assist all Managers in training requirements for their departments.
• Preparation of budget information of employee relations, training and all salary and wage requirements.
• Lead in visa and work permit application for foreign staff.
• Establish all hotel practices and policies concerning personnel and employee relations.
• Establish goals, training and development of Human Resources Manager while they carry out their daily assignment.
• Responsible for maintaining an active source of potential employees to ensure throughout the hotel is staffed.
• Update Human Resources strategic plan annually.
• Other duties as required or requested from Head of Administration or CEO Hospitality.
