JOB TITLE - HSE Lead
DEPARTMENT - Health, Safety and Enviroment (HSE)
LOCATION - Hmawbi Factory
REPORTS TO - Direct report to Production Manager and doc line report to Asia HSE Manager
JOB LEVEL - Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE - Manage HSE overview: Occupational Health, Labor safety & Process Safety, Environment, Firefighting & prevention system towards Company’s vision and goals, and will help to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements and initiatives for country business.
Accountabilities
ACCOUNTABILITY 1 • 30% Leadership: Deploy HSE system
Country HSE Lead will serve as the primary HSE resource for their country, but are expected to assume the lead role for the HSE discipline expertise that they bring to the team • Standardize procedures/ work instructions/ HSE activities in line as per De Heus’s development orientation
ACCOUNTABILITY 2 • 20 % Communication: Communicate effectively with PMs, location and HSE team members in the development and implementation of HSE program. Work closely with Plant Managers and Head of Depts for making plan and train on HSE Programs; Policies; Goals; Processes; Standards for all employees • 95% be completed as per fixed plan
ACCOUNTABILITY 3 • 20% Continuous Improvement: Periodically
Implement the internal audit in order to comply with the 45001 OHSAS – 14001 EM System and HSE legal requirements and other requirements. Maintain awareness of developing environmental, health & safety issues generally, in our industry, to improvement efforts necessary to achieve environmental, health & safety compliance • Work closely with accredited organizations to set up; instruct; audit and maintain the 45001 OHSAS – 14001 Environment Management System
ACCOUNTABILITY 4 • 20% People Development: Manage risk in almost Plant activities and Develop environmental, health & safety leadership and awareness skills at all levels and roles of the organization within the country. • 95% done activities for Hazard Identify Root Cause Analysis (HIRCA). Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support. And on behalf of Employer to deal with Government Officials coming to plant for periodic inspection
ACCOUNTABILITY 5 • 10% Reporting and Measuring: Summary reports and analysis on environmental, health & safety activities, performance measurement and results of country for improvement
• On behalf of Employer to deal with Government Officials coming to plant for periodic inspection • Zero penalty from authorized bodies regarding to HSE field

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS - Education Qualifications: Master or Bachelor of HSE or engineering majors
Preferred Qualifications: Environmental, Occupational Health & Hygiene and/or Safety recognized certifications for ISO, OHSA. Experience in a leading HSE or international experience
EXPERIENCE - At least five (5) years of direct Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and/or Safety experience in a manufacturing environment
COMPETENCIES - Capable for analytical mind Capable for organizational structure. Work Independently and work under of high pressure, good leadership
LANGUAGE(S) English in Advance level, Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Law compliance awareness, do follow processes; capable for do multi-job at the same time
