  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory, including quantities, locations, and specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to avoid shortages or excess stockpiles.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and records.
  • Identify suppliers for spare parts based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery reliability.
  • Obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and place orders for spare parts as per organizational guidelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Inspect incoming spare parts to verify quality and conformity to specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on existing inventory to identify any issues or potential defects.
  • Implement corrective actions or return defective parts to suppliers as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to spare parts, including invoices, purchase orders, and warranty information.
  • Generate reports on spare part usage, inventory levels, procurement activities, and cost analysis for management review.
  • Analyze data trends to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand spare part requirements and ensure adequate stock levels for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate spare part management activities and address any issues or concerns.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on spare part identification, handling, and usage.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in spare part management, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in an telecom Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, procurement processes, and supply chain logistics.
  • Familiarity with spare parts cataloging systems, inventory management software, and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to spare part management.
