The One World International School (TOWIS) is a Cambridge curriculum school in Yangon offering primary through to IGCSE and A-Level programmes. We are looking for a qualified and motivated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality Math lessons in line with the Cambridge International curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons for secondary students Year 7, 8, 9 (Cambridge) IGCSE
• Set and mark assessments, track student progress, and provide timely feedback
• Prepare students for Cambridge International examinations
• Maintain an organised, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school activities
• Communicate with parents and school leadership regarding student progress
• Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at secondary level
• Experience with the Cambridge International curriculum IGCSE  is strongly preferred
• Confident teaching Mathematics through the medium of English — this is a requirement
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Patient, student-centred, and committed to high academic standards
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a multicultural team
