Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Handle all customer transactions at the cash register, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Greet customers as they enter and leave the restaurant, providing a positive dining experience through excellent customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and dining room, including restocking utensils, napkins, and other dining essentials.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, offer menu information, and assist in order placement as needed.
  • Participate in inventory counts and restocking of supplies as directed by management.
  • Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe dining environment for customers and staff.
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Cashier and management team to learn best practices and operational procedures.
  • Assist in setting up the dining area, including arranging tables and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, which may include assisting kitchen staff or serving food and beverages to customers during peak times.

  • The Junior Cashier will report directly to the Senior Cashier or Restaurant Manager.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; no prior work experience required, making it suitable for entry-level candidates.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers.
  • Willingness to learn and follow restaurant operations and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's schedule.
