VDB Loi is seeking a Junior Tax Consultant to join our busy Yangon tax team. The role is open to fresh business, econmics and tax graduates. Full training will be provided. Good English skills needed. 

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of the monthly and annual tax returns of to the Tax Department
  • Communicate with Tax officials
  • Assist to tax research on behalf of the Firm and clients of the Firm
  • Apply tax laws and regulations keeping up to date with any new developments
  • Participate in the Firm knowledge, professional and administrative development
  • Translate documents from Burmese to English and vice versa

Job Requirements

Requirements are:

  • Myanmar citizen
  • University degree in accounting, finance and banking, economics, business, or other related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of Myanmar taxation
  • Honesty and integrity
