To perform timely testing as part of BAU activities including Regression testing and testing of new application, system or version as per the End User’s requirements in order to ensure that the defects are found early and retested.

• Understand the business requirements and raise clarifications in BRD
• Prepare the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Understand the system or application in terms of its available modules and functions including the navigation flows
• Develop the Test scenarios and test cases with test steps and Expected results
• Peer-review of test scenarios and test cases written by test analysts
• Help in preparing the estimation and schedule for respective modules
• Manual Test execution of the test cases and capturing the results in the test management tool such as JIRA
• Develop and maintain the Test Artefacts such as RTM, Test Design, Execution Log, Risk Register, etc.
• Log Defects in JIRA and inform the Test lead on the same so can check the validity of the raised defect
• Assist the senior testers and Test lead in preparing the reports based on the findings and also on the progress of the test execution
• Supporting release deployments and production issues to ensure deployment success and customer satisfaction
• Identify the Test Data and other test requisites required for executing all the Test cases or test scenarios

• Any Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum related 3  years of experience in banking preferably in:

• Back Office Branch Operations Core Banking and Internet/ Mobile Banking

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good to have experience in implementing and executing testing processes
