We are currently looking for Mechanical and Electrical Engineer/ Technician Positions with one of the leading Heavy Machinery and Railway Products Companies.

The position is to be based in Yangon, Myanmar and reporting to the Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team in unloading, coupling, static and dynamic testing, and commissioning of light vehicles.
• Conducts general maintenance and troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment
• Assisting the department heads on the usage of equipment, appliances, and apparatus

Electrical Role

• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Inspects circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Collaborate in the parts or whole units unloading.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and technical diagrams
• Works standard computations relating to electrical load requirements of wiring
• Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment

Mechanical Role

• Execute the coupling mechanical tasks: semi-unit placing, coupling and connection.
• Collaborate in the parts or whole units unloading.
• Mechanical modifications following the home office technical indications and drawings.
• Execute re-works implying GTAW (TIG) welding.
• Performing minor bonding and sealing tasks.
  
  ***This position operates on a shift-based schedule, requiring work across two designated shifts working on alternate days.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics) 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy machinery, automobile and industrial vehicle
• Proficiency with computer
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to speak in English
