Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

• Coordinate regional sourcing and purchasing activities with HO Central Merchandising. • Conduct local market surveys and price benchmarking.
• Source and purchase FMCG, Fresh Food, Beauty amp; General Merchandise.
• Negotiate with suppliers, wholesalers, and traders to achieve competitive prices.
• Manage purchasing documentation and approved cash transactions.
• Coordinate supplier orders, stock collection, and transportation.
• Monitor product availability and support timely replenishment.
• Supervise and coordinate assigned merchandising/purchasing staff.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, purchasing, procurement, wholesale, or trading.
• Experience in FMCG and Fresh/Wet Market sourcing is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Mawlamyine wholesale markets and local suppliers.
• Willingness to travel regularly for sourcing and stock collection.
• Valid driving license is required; personal vehicle is an advantage.
• Previous supervisory/team coordination experience is an advantage.
