Teaching and Learning
● To plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work
● To assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned students, making accurate and productive use of assessment
● To adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of students
● To set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students
● To promote good progress and outcomes by students

● To participate in arrangements for preparing students for external tests
● To conduct Parent Teacher Conferences as per the school calendar

Whole School organisation
● To contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures, so as to support the school’s values, vision and mission
● To make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
● To work with others on curriculum and student development to secure co-ordinated outcomes
● To provide cover, where another teacher is unable to teach
● To stay updated on school policies, Staff handbook content and any other relevant content that ensures an effective working life.
● Follow the school dress code and other codes of conduct
Health and Wellbeing
● To promote the safety and wellbeing of all students
● To ensure a good and safe learning environment
Professional Development
● To take part in the school’s appraisal procedures
● To take part in further training and development in order to improve own teaching
