What we do

Myanmar International School Yangon (MISY) was established in August 2009 and is located in Yankin township, Yangon Myanmar.
MISY is an all-through school, catering for students from early years (nursery and reception) to year 13 (sixth form).
There are a wide variety of after-school activities, including sports programmes and community based projects to enhance the learning experiences of all students.
MISY has a sister school in Mandalay which opened in 2018. This campus currently caters for students from early years to year 12.
Both are Cambridge accredited and MISY Yangon became a Council of International Schools (CIS) member.


MISY (Mandalay Campus)

MISY Mandalay was established in August 2018. The school is currently located at No. 23, 48th Street, Between 109 x 110 Roads, Chan Mya Thar Si Township, Mandalay. The school runs classes in Early Years (Nursery, Reception) and Year 1 to Year 12.

MISY is a member of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), and our students sit for the worldwide recognized University of Cambridge IGCSE and A-level exams and take part in scholastic activities worldwide. They study at universities around the world as well as here in Myanmar.

Teaching and Learning To support the learning in the classroom To be aware of and uphold classroom agreements and support the teacher in creating a good working environment.
