Analyze manufacturing processes independently by studying product requirements, researching, and validating manufacturing methods. Prepare process specifications and other required manufacturing documents.           

  • Conduct product / process analysis in collaboration with related departments.
  • Improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.
  • Analyse, investigate and solve manufacturing process issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects such as cost reduction, quality and productivity improvement.
  • Responsible for new process and new product trial runs.
  • Establish training documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI), and One Point Lesson (OPL).
  • Educate and train Production Technicians and Operators on proper manufacturing procedures

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – MS-Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent problem solving, negotiation, decision making and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge in SPC, Six Sigma and TPM would be advantageous
