An Exciting Opportunity for ...

This position will be responsible for supporting Procurement Manager in in the execution of procurement strategies, assisting in efficient management of procurement activities, coordinating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

  • Assist the Procurement Manager in executing procurement strategies and plans, support in managing the day-to-day procurement activities.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and confirm order details.
  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement Manager, including preparing and processing of Approval in Writing, preparing purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Assist in evaluating vendor performance and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in managing reorder processes to ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/inventory staff to ensure accurate inventory records and timely replenishment of stock.
  • Maintain and update procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and assist in generating procurement reports, performance metrics, and analysis for review by the Procurement Manager.
  • Track and report on key procurement indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and documentation for procurement reviews and meetings.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and vendor communications.
  • Ensure all records are accurately filed and easily accessible for audits, reviews, and reporting purposes.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Can clearly communicate via writing and/or verbally in both English and Myanmar
