Responsibilities:

• MEP services support for pre-contract & post contract including cost planning and estimating, prequalification, BoQ production, tendering, letter of award, contract preparation, valuation of payments, assessment of variation works and/or contractor’s claims, final account etc
• Specialized in measurement of MEP systems including mechanical, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, drainage, fire, electrical, low voltage, vertical transportation etc.
• Undertake measurement tasks to support cost comparison and project work analysis
• Assist in procurement, tender preparation including preparing Scope of Works, Request for Quotation/Proposal, negotiating the terms, recommendation and drafting the Contract
• Assist with drafting detailed progress and cost reports
• Assist in setting up and monitoring MEP cost data
• Collaborate with inter-departments from design, MEP, logistic aspects and etc to provide contractual and commercial advices
• Ensure awareness of all project activities that may affect the Contracts
• Reporting to Head of QS on day to day tasks
• Support senior staff in commercial meetings

Position Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying from recognized university
• Minimum 8 years of experience gained from sizeable consultant or main contractors preferably overseas experience in South East Asian countries
• Experience with FIDIC suite of contract and rules of measurement are preferred
• Working knowledge of residential, commercial, retail experience advantageous
• Myanmar language skills are preferred
• A good standard of written English including a good understanding of contractual terms and their implications and obligations
• High level of computer literacy, in particular with MS Excel and MS Word
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Immediate available is highly preferred
