Viya Health Myanmar is looking for a Regulatory and Procurement Officer to perform regulatory compliance activities related to product registration, trademarks, barcodes, labelling and documentation, while also overseeing the procurement of goods and services. The role ensures that all products meet national regulatory requirements and that purchasing activities are executed efficiently, ethically, and in line with Viya Health Myanmar’s standards. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory Affairs:

  • Prepare, compile, and submit product registration dossiers to the relevant authorities (FDA).
  • Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of product registrations, trademarks, barcodes and licenses.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, government departments, testing laboratories, and certification bodies for product compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support internal teams during audits or inspections.
  • Review marketing materials, packaging, labelling and product documentation to ensure compliance. 
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of changes in local regulations, industry standards and international best practices.
  • Prepare reports on regulatory compliance status, updates, potential risks and pending approvals.

Procurement Management:

  • Source, evaluate and select suppliers for products and services in align with company procurement policies.
  • Source quotations, negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality compliance and timely delivery.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts and procurement documentation in line with company procurement policies.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and keep accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reports.
  • Support internal teams by providing timely procurement insights for business planning.

Coordination and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the finance team to align procurement with budgetary, approval and payment schedules.
  • Collaborate with the store to ensure proper receipt, storage and inventory management of products.
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers and reports for both procurement and regulatory activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs and/or procurement (healthcare/pharmaceutical industry is preferable)
  • Strong understanding of FDA product registration processes and trademarks.
  • Exposure to working with regulatory authorities, law firms or external consultants is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication & negotiation skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, external partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and compliance management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability, and time management skills, 
  • Close attention to details and accuracy, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently.
