Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Monitor and record all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Support consolidation and reporting requirements for RVi Group.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support department heads in understanding financial performance versus targets.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely payment to vendors and collection from clients.
  • Review supporting documents and ensure accuracy before posting or payment approval.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure all accounting practices comply with Myanmar Financial Regulations, Tax Laws, and RVi Group standards.
  • Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Support in maintaining accurate tax records and ensure timely tax filings (e.g., WHT, Commercial Tax, Income Tax).

5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

6. Team Support & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Admin teams on payroll, staff reimbursements, and related matters.
  • Support Line Manager in management reporting and decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or LCCI Level III (preferred).
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an education or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations in Myanmar.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Myanmar.
