Ko Ko Fu is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team and management in financial planning and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities (Job Description – JD)

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions to ensure proper financial control.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely tax calculations, tax filings, and compliance with Myanmar tax regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to verify financial documents, invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documents and financial records.
• Monitor inventory accounting and cost control, where applicable.
• Identify discrepancies, accounting issues, and opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and relevant financial regulations.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as LCCI Level III, ACCA Part I/II, CPA, or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Myanmar tax regulations.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing reports.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in the food and beverage (F&B), restaurant, or retail industry will be an advantage.
