Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  • Assist the Assistant Chief Auditor in planning the scope and objectives of specific audit assignments.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the processes and controls to be audited to identify key risks and control points.
  • Execute audit programs and perform testing procedures independently, including collecting, analyzing, and evaluating evidence.
  • Conduct substantive testing and tests of controls for key areas such as revenue, inventory, procurement, and cash management.
  • Perform data analysis using advanced Excel and other tools to identify anomalies or trends for further investigation.
  • Prepare complete, accurate, and well-organized working papers that adequately support all audit findings and conclusions.
  • Review the working papers prepared by Auditors to ensure quality and compliance with audit standards.
  • Ensure all audit documentation is property archived upon completion of the engagement.
  • Draft clear and concise Audit Findings for inclusion in the formal audit report, including the condition, criteria, cause, and recommendation.
  • Discuss and validate audit observations with process owners at the operational level to confirm facts.
  • Assist the Assistant Chief Auditor in the preparation of the formal Draft Audit Report.
  • Provide guidance, training, and daily supervision to Auditors on audit methodology, tools and company policies.
  • Assign and review the work of junior staff on assigned audit engagements to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide practical recommendations to improve processes and internal controls during the audit process.
  • Support the Assistant Chief Auditor in raid investigations and whistleblowing cases by performing specific testing and analysis as directed.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and other site verification activities.

Job Requirements

  • B.Com, B.Act, CPA (Part I) (or) Any Graduated with ACCA (Part I), LCCI Level (3)
  • Computer literacy in Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word, Email and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a senior or in-charge role.
  • Experience in the F&B or retail industry is preferred.
  • Must be over 30 years of age.
  • Implement the Annual Audit Plan and submit a report to Audit Management.
  • Good understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of leading, supervising and coaching of team members 
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for audit assignments.
