Oversee the complete logistics and inventory process, analyzing and implementing cost-effective solutions for imports, logistics operations, and inventory management. Job Descriptions

• Develop and implement demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensuring timely order fulfillment and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
• Drive initiatives to enhance cross-border delivery lead times by collaborating with international logistics partners to streamline processes and reduce transit times.
• Improve domestic delivery lead times through route optimization, effective carrier management, and continuous process improvements.
• Enhance warehouse and logistics efficiency in Myanmar through operational improvements and cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze and optimize overall warehouse and logistics expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and effective vendor negotiations.
• Identify and develop new logistics routes for direct shipments from Thailand, optimizing routes to enhance efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) or related government office to ensure timely acquisition and renewal of import licenses in alignment with market demand.
• Apply for import licenses using the Trade net 12.0 system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform bank visits for cash deposits as required by operational needs.
• Identify exporters and arrange meetings to discuss export earnings acquisition and explore partnerships to streamline the import process.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Country Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. A Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Senior-level experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, preferably with international logistics exposure.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, shipment compliance, regulatory requirements, and import license application processes.
• Experience in Trade Net portal operations and related applications.
• Proficiency in logistics management software, AI-based logistics systems, and digital tools.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, cost optimization, and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience coordinating with exporters and logistics service providers.
• Good data analysis and reporting skills to support decision-making.
• Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in logistics and supply chain operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and challenges.
• Ability to handle logistics-related issues and support contingency planning when required.
