  • To enhance and strengthen Nestlé Myanmar's reputation as a recognised leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness; respected and trusted by all stakeholders; to promote CSV as a fundamental business principle; to act as a ‘trusted advisor’ to Market Head in reputation matters 
  • Develop strategies to promote and protect Nestlé's corporate reputation in Indochina Region in coordination with Division/BU and Country Heads.
  • Build and maintain strong relations with local governmental and non-governmental organisations (incl. KOLs, education institutions, trade and industrial associations) through communication and activities.
  • Act as a Corporate central point of contact on issue/crisis management. Work with other internal functions to develop crisis position statement/Q&A guidance to be shared with concerned parties externally and internally.
  • Identify and monitor public issues which influence public perceptions towards corporate reputation and manage preemptive actions.
  • Provide consultation to Market Head on external relations matters.
  • Mobilise internal and external networks to manage and mitigatge 'issues'.
  • Monitor and provide guidance to ensure that compliance of Nestlé key principles are embeded within the organisation to safeguard Corporate reputation.
  • Work collaboratively with other internal functions such as Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Agricultural Services, SHE, HR and Corporate Communication & NHW to ensure alignment to Corporate global policy
  • Develop and maintain an effective organisation through selection, training, development, compensation, and motivation of assigned personnel. Conduct merit review on a timely basis. Discipline employee in accordance with company policy and procedure.

Job Requirements

'- 10+ years experience in strategic communications/corporate affairs roles
- Experience of senior-level negotiations and conflict management

- Experience in senior level corporate and public communications, including public advocacy 
- Significant experience in dealing with regional government affairs and exposure to political and regulatory issues
- Proven experience in crisis management and providing sound advice to Market Head and Senior Management
- Experience at senior executive or Board level, business advisory services requiring strong business acumen
- Active engagement in social issues, for example corporate social responsibilities
- Team management experience
