Job Description

i-Land Park Myanmar Limited is seeking for experienced Site Engineers to support the construction, maintenance, utilities, and daily technical operations of our industrial park in Bago.

Candidates should have a professional background in either Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering and must be willing to be based at and stay at the Bago site. Company accommodation and daily meals will be provided.

Depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, the successful applicant will be assigned responsibilities related to civil works, electrical systems, or general engineering and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction, installation, repair, maintenance, and upgrading works within the industrial park.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all works meet approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, government departments, tenants, and internal operation teams.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, quotations, work schedules, material requirements, and contractors’ progress.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to the required standard.
• Identify technical issues and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare inspection records, maintenance schedules, progress reports, incident reports, and other technical documentation.
• Supervise technicians, contractors, and maintenance workers assigned to engineering activities.
• Support factory renovation, reinstatement, handover, utility connection, and maintenance works.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, urgent repairs, and site operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, engineering standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Carry out other engineering and site operation duties assigned by management

Civil Engineering Scope

Candidates with a Civil Engineering background may be responsible for:

• Civil, structural, building, road, drainage, water supply, and infrastructure works.
• Construction and renovation supervision.
• Review of civil drawings, quantities, specifications, and work methods.
• Measurement and verification of contractors’ completed works and payment claims.
• Building maintenance, factory reinstatement, and site improvement projects.

Electrical Engineering Scope

Candidates with an Electrical Engineering background may be responsible for:

• Electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchboards, generators, control panels, motors, pumps, lighting, and cabling.
• Electrical installation, preventive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, load requirements, and technical specifications.
• Supervision of electrical technicians and contractors.
• Support for factory power connection, electrical upgrading, and emergency breakdown response.

Job Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
•    Minimum five years of relevant working experience.
•    Experience in industrial buildings, factories, construction projects, infrastructure, utilities, facility management, or estate maintenance is preferred.
•    Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
•    Strong site supervision, contractor coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
•    Familiar with quality control, preventive maintenance, and workplace safety requirements.
•    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software is preferred.
•    Able to work independently and manage several technical matters simultaneously.
•    Strong team spirit, with the ability to guide, supervise, and lead workers effectively, and to perform well under pressure in a demanding site environment.
•    Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and willing to work hands-on at the site.
•    Must be willing to stay at the company’s Bago site.
