Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

Design residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop and ground-mount PV systems.
Conduct site assessments and analyze energy production using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar.
Create detailed electrical single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and system schematics.
Size solar PV system components including inverters, modules, wiring, and protection devices.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), utility requirements, and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers, installation teams, and permitting authorities.
Prepare bill of materials (BoM), cost estimates, and technical documentation for proposals.
Evaluate new technologies and provide engineering support during installation and commissioning.
Assist in performance analysis and troubleshooting of PV systems.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in solar PV design (more for senior roles).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and other design tools.
Understanding of NEC, IEC, and local electrical codes.
Familiarity with interconnection standards and utility coordination.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
NABCEP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
