ROLE PURPOSE

Solution Architect will be responsible to integrate technology and data estate, with Prudential’s converged technology stack.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize, socialize and gain approval for innovative integration solutions between Prudential and Partner.
• Explore a range of possibilities and creative alternatives to contribute to systems, process and business improvements while designing the E2E solution.
• Detail out the E2E control process flows which comprehensively map out the Integration requirements within Enterprise Architecture. 
• Ensure that the solution design balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
• Identify inter and intra capability and dependencies, both Prudential platforms, as well as partner platforms.
• Ensure your solution designs are aligned to the Architectural Principles and the Enterprise Architecture.
• Manage the integration delivery E2E, from inception to completion.

Education & Special Training

Essential
•    Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute
•    Strong understanding and familiarity with Prudential’s converged technology stack and demonstrable experience in quickly learning and operating in a new technology stack 
•    Deep, extensive and demonstrable work on at least one technology area, including due diligence/feasibility to evaluate and test various options. The technology areas of focus are:
1.    Enterprise NoSQL databases e.g. Couchbase
2.    Stream based processing analytics e.g. Flink
3.    Ecosystem-agnostic mobile-first front-end technologies e.g. React Native
4.    Enterprise Payment/Wallet platforms e.g. Aladdin by Blackrock
5.    REST API frameworks e.g. Swagger
6.    Enterprise pub-sub frameworks e.g. Kafka
7.    Full-Duplex secure communication protocols using non-blocking message flows e.g. WSS
8.    SDK-based platforms development

Experience

Essential
•    Experience in using agile CI/CD pipelines and Dev-sec-ops methods
•    Experience in building ML pipelinesd
•    Proven track record of delivering critical IT stack with high level of vigilance 
 

Languages

Essential
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in English.
