Job Description
Ascend International School is looking for passionate, qualified, and experienced teachers to join our academic team and teach the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (iGCSE) and International Advanced Level (IAL) programmes.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons based on the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Prepare students for Pearson Edexcel iGCSE and International Advanced Level (IAL) examinations.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and student-centred classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet different students’ learning needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in school meetings, activities, and professional development.
• Perform other teaching-related duties assigned by the school.

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Pearson Edexcel iGCSE and/or IAL is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Pearson Edexcel curriculum and examination requirements.
• Experience in preparing students using past examination papers and exam-style questions.
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to students’ academic development.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and educational technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural school environment.
