Phase 1: Months 1–6 (Foundations, Systems & Capex and material Procurement)

• Strategy & Frameworks: Design and establish procurement policies, supplier evaluation matrices, and material planning workflows tailored to tobacco/FMCG manufacturing.
• CapEx & Machinery Procurement: Partner closely with the PMO and engineering teams to source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts for specialized cigarette making, packing, and wrapping machinery (long-lead technical assets).
• Raw & Packaging Material Sourcing: Establish reliable local and international supply chains for core inputs (e.g., cut rag tobacco, cigarette paper, filters, foil, cartons).
• Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Understand local import regulations, excise duties, and compliance requirements specific to tobacco manufacturing inputs.

Phase 2: Months 7–15 (Execution, Commissioning & Team Scaling)

• Warehouse & Logistics Blueprint: Warehouse flows (bond/non-bond segregation where applicable), material staging, and transport logistics.
• Trial Run Preparation: Coordinate trial material logistics and initial sampling procurement ahead of factory commissioning.
• Commercial Ramp-Up: Oversee initial procurement cycles, inventory control, and supply chain execution as commercial production goes live.
• Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor execution-level supply chain and procurement executives to handle daily operations under your leadership.

• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of supply chain and procurement experience, with specific experience in tobacco/cigarette manufacturing or high-speed FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Location & Language: Based in Yangon. Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is an absolute must for international vendor negotiations and internal reporting.
• Greenfield Experience: Proven track record of setting up supply chain systems, warehouses, or procurement processes for new plants. International/overseas manufacturing experience is a strong advantage.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) for tobacco products/other products, MRO spare parts management, and complex material planning calculations (lead-time forecasting, safety stock).
