Purpose of the role
Responsible for managing the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of telecommunications equipment, cables, tools, and related materials and consumable items. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of telecom assets, supports field operations, and maintains compliance with safety and quality standards.
 

Main Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of telecom materials, equipment, and consumable items
• Record stock movements using both the warehouse management manual and system
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits
• Organize and label inventory to ensure quick retrieval and efficient tracking
• Prepare and package materials for delivery to field crews, sites, or customers
•  Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers or internal drivers
•  Ensure correct documentation (packing lists, shipping labels, delivery notes) accompanies each order
• Handle fiber optic cables, copper cables, connectors, antennas, modems, routers, Spare Part Items, Telecom Goods and consumable items according to handling guidelines and delivery process

• A bachelor's degree or relevant diploma
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic Microsoft Office
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse staff
• Solid understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
