Position Overview
The General Manager (Sales, Marketing & Operations) will lead and manage the overall business operations of Green Energy Co., Ltd., with a strong focus on sales growth, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency. The role requires a solid engineering background, preferably in renewable energy, power systems, or related industries, to effectively bridge technical expertise with business development. The GM will be responsible for driving revenue, managing resources, building client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in alignment with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies, sales targets, and operational plans aligned with company goals.
Lead business expansion in renewable energy solutions, engineering services, and sustainable products.
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, and technical).
2. Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
Drive B2B and B2G sales activities, including renewable energy projects, solar solutions, biomass, and related engineering products.
Monitor sales performance, set KPIs, and ensure targets are achieved.
Lead contract negotiations and proposal development.
3. Marketing & Branding
Develop marketing strategies to promote renewable energy solutions in Myanmar.
Build company brand positioning in the green energy sector.
Plan and oversee promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and participation in industry events/exhibitions.
4. Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Ensure regulatory compliance with energy sector requirements.
Manage supply chain, procurement, and vendor relationships.
5. Financial & Performance Management
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business reports. Monitor P&L performance, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure profitability of business units.
6. People & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Build technical capacity within the organization.
Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field); MBA is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role in Sales/Marketing/Operations.
Proven track record in business development and project execution in renewable energy, power, or engineering industries.
Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy solutions (solar, biomass, wind, hydro, etc.).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage P&L.
Fluency in English and Myanmar languages.
