• Take over all departmental responsibility for the procurement function, including logistics, warehousing and necessary import approval from Government authorities. (Procurement items would be Inland Logistics, Inbound & Outbound Logistics, Warehouse tenders, Export/import initiatives, CAPEX projects, Manpower contracts, etc.)
• Lead in import process for all procurement items such as MRO, CAPEX equipment and other Sales & Marketing items.
• Drive procurement team for developing procurement excellence foundation, regular reviews on progress and drive for Procurement Excellence Implementation.
• Support in MIC annual quota submission, all import related document preparations, chemical/FDA registrations, and all other necessary permit/licenses, etc. to make availabilities of RMPM supply
• Ensure the continuity of supply, assess supply markets and develop supply strategy to minimize business risks
• Fulfill the Compliance requirement while making vendor selection, tendering and contract preparation.
• Liaise with regional team to provide reports, make a report, arrange tenders, target setting for the price, savings etc.
• Delivery of the materials in time as per production requirement or as per PRN request
• Lead, coach, mentor and train the procurement team for smooth and efficient operation of the procurement function.
• Identify various saving opportunities by sourcing of the suppliers, network optimization, tendering and negotiations etc.
• Work with cross-functional team to lead new projects, events, etc.
• Identify the areas of improvement, track the progress on closing the gaps and improve the ways of working as per excellence foundation requirements.
• Implement supplier relationship management process.
• Ensure 100% service level to internal and external customers.

• Must have experiences 6-8 years in Indirect Procurement, Logistics & Warehouse Field
• Must have knowledge of Myanmar government process of importation & export processes.
• If previous experience with FMCG, it will value addition.
• Must show enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Can lead team and show leadership skill.
• Can work well independently and under pressure

Educational / Qualifications requirements:

• Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in Economic/Finance/ Accounting/Supply Chain
• Other Qualifications: Good skill in Microsoft Excel, ERP system
• Language: Good English Skill

Travel Requirements

• 10-15 days per year
