  • Plan and coordinate the organization’s procurement procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
  • Verify organization’s purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items and recommending alternatives
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor and review the organization’s procurement activities and recommend alternatives to minimize costs
  • Forward available inventory items by verifying stock and scheduling delivery
  • Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price, obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items and obtaining approval from authorized personnel
  • Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders
  • Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolve deliveries in error with suppliers
  • Implement and execute necessary checks and recordkeeping procedures for the organization’s purchasing activities
  • Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with relevant departments in the organization
  • Perform other related duties and required of the Procurement & Import Department
  • Follow instructions from and report to General Managers, the Board of Directors and Chairman

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification/diploma is welcome
  • 5 years experience in related field
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to work with cross functional team and in a cooperative manner
  • Good planning and organizing
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and also work independently
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, self-management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in both Burmese and English
