Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and support Procurement Assistants and Store Assistant.
• Provide team training, mentorship, and clear operational guidelines.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2. Strategic Procurement Planning

• Develop monthly and quarterly procurement plans based on operational needs and consumption trends.
• Forecast supply requirements for office, JC, central kitchen, and store ingredients.

3. Supplier & Vendor Management

• Source and evaluate new suppliers (local and overseas), focusing on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate terms (pricing, lead times, payment, and delivery) to meet business targets.
• Manage ongoing vendor relationships and performance reviews.

4. Purchasing Operations (Local & Overseas)

• Coordinate local and international procurement including pricing, availability, expiry checks, and delivery timelines.
• Manage overseas communication for packing, invoicing, and shipping documentation.
• Oversee and validate deliveries, especially for JC and central operations.

5. Inventory & Store Oversight

• Ensure accurate and timely stock checks; monitor product expiry dates.
• Supervise daily inventory issuance and maintain cleanliness and organization of store areas.
• Conduct regular inspections in line with store checklists and SOPs.

6. Procurement Systems & Documentation

• Manage procurement workflows through the Odoo ERP system, confirming POs at level 8.
• Verify and process payment documents including POs, invoices, GRNs, and submit claims to Finance (Cash and Credit).

7. Quality Assurance

• Ensure the quality and freshness of high-sensitivity items such as chicken, seafood, and produce.
• Perform pre-purchase quality checks on utensils and equipment.

8. Market & Event-Based Purchasing

• Handle cash advances for urgent market purchases; submit reconciliations promptly.
• Support procurement requirements for special events and functions.
• Fulfill ad-hoc requests from both restaurant and office departments.

9. Budget Management & Cost Control

• Monitor procurement budgets, reduce wastage, and ensure optimal spending.
• Track monthly purchase amounts and analyze cost-saving opportunities.

10. Compliance & Service Excellence

• Ensure all procurement practices adhere to company policies and service quality standards in the F&B sector.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and diploma in relevant field

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement (F&B experience preferred)

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Knowledge of local & overseas purchasing

• Experience in inventory control and stock checks

• Familiar with ERP systems (Odoo preferred)

• Good negotiation and vendor management skills

• Able to handle urgent issues and adapt quickly

• Proficient in MS Office and email

• Good communication skills in Burmese and English

• Understanding of procurement compliance and documentation
