Position Objective:

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Rewards 

  • Supervise and lead the payroll team in processing payroll accurately and on time for all talents. 

  • Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee information, pay rates, and tax withholding data. 

  • Generate regular payroll reports for management and finance teams. 

  • Reconcile payroll transactions and resolve any discrepancies promptly. 

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies during payroll processing. 

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits related to payroll, such as health insurance, other deductions or contributions. 

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions and tax matters. 

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations related to payroll and ensure accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes. 

  • Participate in salary surveys and conduct regular analysis of compensation and benefits data to ensure competitiveness in the market and fair internal pay structures. 

  • Recommend adjustments and improvements to compensation packages and benefits offerings based on market trends and internal feedback. 

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, etc. 

  • Educate talents about available benefits and address any questions or concerns related to benefits packages. 

  • Monitor and manage the benefits budget to ensure it remains within company guidelines. 

  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to management. 

  • Collaborate with HR and management to address employee feedback and concerns regarding 

Budget Development 

  • Create and oversee the budget for the organization’s headcount, working closely with department heads and HRBPs to understand staffing needs and optimize resource allocation 

  • Design, implement and manage the budget for employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment. 

  • Establish and manage the budget for hiring activities and maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 

Performance Review 

  • Take a leading role in Myanmar Business Unit’s performance review process, aligining with AIA group guidelines.

Experience – 

  • At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial capacity. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing HR strategies and programs. 

Education – 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or additional HR certifications are preferred. 

Skills & Knowledge –  

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing HR team, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment.  

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.

  • Proven ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture. 

  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition, strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, rewards program 

  • Through knowledge of labor laws and regulations. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present HR initiatives to senior leadership and communicate with employees at all levels. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting to evolving business needs and HR trends
