PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Category Manager is responsible for sourcing & negotiation with local suppliers, importation of capex material & spare parts, maintain good relationship with customers, manage selling of byproduct waste and manage export process for raw materials.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Analysis local market, develop and implement local sourcing strategies for raw materials
• Develop local supplier capability up to global standard
• Build supplier relationships at multiple levels and influence to deliver on sustainably, innovation and create value for HEINEKEN Myanmar
• Drive efficiencies through sourcing, innovation, specifications and processes value analysis
• Ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply security
• Collaborate with HEINEKEN Global Procurement (HGP) team to localize and execute global sourcing strategies within Myanmar
• Build good relationship with customers and manage export business
• Manage importation of maize plant equipment and spare parts
• Manage packaging material for export business
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Other Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience, preferably within the FMCG sector
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, agricultural procurement and local sourcing

Experience & Knowledge

• At least 5 years of experience, preferably within the FMCG sector
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, agricultural procurement and local sourcing
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Willingness to learn and develop

Language

• Good in English language skills is an advantage
