The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, risk management, and overall financial health of the organization. The CFO ensures sustainable growth, financial discipline, and compliance while supporting strategic decision-making at the Board and CEO level.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors
Lead financial planning for expansion, investment, and business transformation initiatives
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning (3–5 years)
Monitor company performance, profitability, and key financial KPIs
Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
3. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to the Board
Maintain strong compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, and audit requirements
4. IPO / Investment / Fundraising (if applicable)
Lead IPO preparation, investor relations, and financial restructuring (if listed or planning listing)
Manage relationships with banks, investors, private equity, and financial institutions
Support capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence processes
5. Risk Management & Internal Controls
Establish and maintain strong internal control systems across the organization
Identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure effective audit processes and governance frameworks
6. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across the group
Optimize capital structure and financing strategies
Oversee debt management, credit facilities, and banking relationships
7. Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop the finance, accounting, treasury, and tax teams
Build a high-performance finance organization with strong succession planning
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and efficiency
8. Stakeholder Management
Act as the key financial representative to the Board of Directors and external stakeholders
Coordinate with auditors, regulators, banks, and investment partners
Support investor relations and financial communications

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
2. Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA)
3. 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, including senior executive roles
4. Strong experience in corporate finance, group reporting, and strategic financial management
5. Experience in IPO, listed companies, or large-scale organizations is highly preferred
