User Support and Troubleshooting
● Provide frontline IT supportto staff and students attheBahan campus, assisting with hardware and software issues including logins, printing, Wi-Fi, projectors, laptops, and desktops.
● Resolve issues independently where possible, and escalate more complex problems to the IT Manager or AssistantIT Manager when appropriate.
● Respond to IT issues submitted via the school’s internal support system, ensuring timely and courteous resolution.
Device and Classroom Technology Management
● Maintain classroom technology including Chromebooks, iPads, projectors, whiteboards, sound systems, and charging carts.
● Ensure devices are regularly updated, charged, and ready for scheduled use.
● Supportteachers with setup ofIT and AV equipment before lessons or events.
Campus Operations and Maintenance
● Conductregular checks on classrooms, devices, and shared areas to identify and address issues proactively.
● Monitor internet and network performance attheBahan site and flag any disruptions.
● Maintain a clean, organised, and safe IT workspace and ensure equipmentis stored securely.
Asset and Inventory Management
● Track and maintain inventory records for devices and consumables (e.g. printer toner, batteries, adapters).
● Report and manage hardware repairs, replacements, and warranty claims under the direction ofthe IT Manager.
● Support audits and assettagging processes as required.
Teamwork and Communication
● Work closely with the IT team across both campuses to share updates, flag issues, and support ongoing projects.
● Communicate effectively with teaching and support staff, maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
● Contribute ideas for improving IT systems and support processes.
