  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
  • Develop cost estimates and budgets for civil works
  • Analyze project drawings and identify discrepancies
  • Monitor project costs and track budget utilization
  • Prepare cost reports and forecasts
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Prepare tender documents, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and bid evaluations
  • Review and compare contractor quotations
  • Assist in contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Evaluate contractor claims and variations
  • Prepare and verify interim payment certificates
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams
  • Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quantities
  • Ensure alignment between site execution and contract requirements
  • Assess variation orders and cost implications
  • Prepare and negotiate claims with contractors/clients
  • Maintain proper documentation for all variations
  • Prepare and agree final accounts with contractors
  • Ensure all project costs are accurately recorded and closed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS Engineer in civil construction project.

  • Understanding of construction materials, methods, and specifications
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented with strong coordination skills
  • Ethical, reliable, and cost-conscious mindset
