Visit a set number of retail outlets daily to take orders and achieve sales targets. Maintain and strengthen rapport with existing customers while identifying new potential outlets. Ensure products are displayed prominently on shelves and use Point-of-Sale (POS) materials effectively. Check stock levels at retail points to prevent "Out-of-Stock" situations. Ensure timely payment collection from credit customers (if applicable). Report competitor prices, new product launches, and customer complaints to the Area Sales Manager (ASM).
Drive the sales team to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly volume and value targets in the assigned area. Regularly visit the market to monitor stocks, shelf space (merchandising), and competitor activities. Supervise local distributors to ensure adequate stock levels, timely delivery, and credit management. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives or Van Sales. Identify and open new retail outlets to increase numeric distribution. Submit weekly/monthly sales reports, market feedback, and inventory status to the NSM.
Translate national sales objectives into actionable regional plans and volume targets. Manage and mentor Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to ensure they hit their respective territory KPIs. Identify, appoint, and manage top-tier distributors within the region to ensure product availability. Manage regional budgets for trade promotions, marketing materials, and sales incentives. Provide high-level feedback on regional competitor moves, pricing shifts, and wholesaler trends. Review regional sales data weekly to identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions.
Develop and execute national sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base. Train, and mentor Regional Sales Managers and sales teams to ensure peak performance. Oversee the distribution network and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and wholesalers. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities. Manage the national sales budget and ensure optimal ROI on trade marketing and promotions. Analyze sales data and provide regular performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
● Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, trade activations, and consumer programs in the FMCG space. ● Work closely and harmoniously with the sales team to ensure marketing initiatives support commercial goals and field execution. ● Assist in reviewing work processes (marketing and cross-functional) to spot root causes of problems and suggest innovative improvements ● Collect, analyze, and trust real data from modern tools/IT/AI to identify issues and propose practical solutions. ● Handle detailed work with care and precision, while communicating effectively in English (Thai knowledge is a plus for team coordination). ● Turn data-driven insights into clear, engaging communications and materials with both science and art. ● Take hands-on, end-to-end responsibility for assigned projects and tasks with high passion for efficient success.
