Manage daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, facilities, housekeeping, security, and patient services. Ensure smooth patient flow, bed management, discharge processes, and turnaround times. Coordinate with clinical teams to support efficient and safe patient care delivery. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., NABH / JCI / Joint Commission), and internal policies. Monitor patient safety, infection control, and quality indicators. Support audits, inspections, and accreditation processes. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and expense optimization. Monitor operational KPIs such as length of stay, occupancy rate, resource utilization, and turnaround time. Oversee procurement, inventory management, and vendor performance. Lead and supervise departmental heads and operational staff. Drive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices across departments. Oversee hospital infrastructure, safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
Oversee daily hospital operations including clinical support services, facilities, supply chain, patient flow, and non-clinical departments. Ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet patient care, safety, and financial objectives. Collaborate with the Group CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute hospital strategy. Partner with medical staff, nursing leadership, and department heads to improve quality of care and patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission), and hospital policies. Support budget planning, cost control, and operational financial performance. Support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development. Support adoption of healthcare technologies, EMR optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Lead central purchasing and negotiate high-value contracts to save costs across all hospitals. Develop and implement healthcare supply chain strategies aligned with hospital operational and clinical needs. Optimize cost, quality, and service levels while minimizing supply disruption risks. Manage stock levels for Pharmacies, Labs, and Operating Rooms to ensure we never run out of critical supplies while reducing waste. Oversee warehousing and the safe delivery of sensitive supplies (like vaccines and blood) between facilities. Partner with doctors and nurses to standardize medical equipment and choose the best products for patient care. Ensure all operations meet strict healthcare regulations (FDA, DEA) and prepare backup plans for supply shortages. Use EMR software and data analytics to track performance and improve supply chain efficiency.
Business Analysis & Requirements Conduct detailed analysis of hospital workflows (OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Lab, Billing, EMR, etc.) Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements Prepare BRD, FRD, SOPs, workflow diagrams, and user stories Perform gap analysis between hospital needs and standard HMS features HMS Implementation & Vendor Coordination Coordinate with HMS vendor for system configuration and change requests (CRs) Validate configurations against approved requirements Support data setup, master data validation, and process alignment Testing, Training & Go-Live Plan and execute UAT with hospital stakeholders Manage UAT defects, clarifications, and sign-off Lead end-user training sessions and prepare training materials Support go-live, hyper care, and post-implementation stabilization Stakeholder & Pre-Sales Support Act as primary liaison between hospital users, vendor, and internal teams Support pre-sales demos , solution presentations, and proposal discussions Provide functional inputs for RFPs and project estimates
