JOB TITLE FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
DEPARTMENT FRONT OFFICE
REPORT TO FRONT OFFICE MANAGER & DUTY MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact for all hotel guests, providing exceptional customer service, responsible for all activities such as handle check in and check out, rooming of all hotel guests, and at the same time assisting our guests with inquiries.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide a courteous and professional service always.
2. Answers inquiries over the telephone and in person pertaining to hotel services and registration of guests, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
3. Verify room status from housekeeping’s report, “Blocks” and assigns rooms for special request and good attention reservations.
4. Must be fully conversant with company policies regarding credit granting and credit card procedures.
5. Post all charges to the room folios as soon as they are received.
6. Receive and post to the appropriate folio all cash received in payment of room accounts.
7. Properly record and post to the appropriate folio all charge payments of room accounts, this includes both credit card charges and city ledger charges.
8. Communicate guest’s requests and complaints to the appropriate department
9. Perform other duties as and when assigned by Front Office Manager or Duty Manager from time to time

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
3. Excellent written English & Mandarin Language
4. Fluent in English and Mandarin Language

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
Must be mentally & physically fit
