Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

• Plan and lead on all HR activities related to attracting, developing, managing, rewarding and retaining talent within the Hotel; including HR Administration activities
• Create a work culture and environment that maintain high employee satisfaction and morale; driving a high performance culture
• Design and implement HR operational policies and processes that are aligned with Hotel operations; including the Employee Handbook
• Plan and design the Hotel’s organisational structure and job descriptions for all roles
• Forecast and manage the overall HR Budget (pre-opening and operational)
• Oversee matters related to Employee Relations, Employee Welfare and Employee Engagement; including but not limited to grievances, disciplinaries, employment contracts, employment law, benefits (meal, transport, accommodation, etc.)
• Develop and implement employee development, career development and succession planning strategies/plans to retain talented employees for the long term and to maintain a healthy talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the GM and other management team members in relation to HR strategy, performance management, reward and benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent development and employment legislation
• Develop opportunities for employee engagement and participation through wellness, team-building and recognition events.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion

Job Requirements

• Must be holder of Bachelor’s degree or HR related degree
• Knowledge and understanding of best-practice approach and latest trends in Employee Relations.
• At least five years of working experiences in management level of HR in a reputable hotel preferably 4 or 5 stars
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software including job portal.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to handle difficult situations professionally and in a non-confrontational manner.
• Develop and control the organisation’s budget on remuneration and benefits to ensure employee engagement and effective spending.
• Strong MS Office skills (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
• High level of English fluency in written& spoken English.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams and individuals to achieve high performance and deliver value.
