Job Description

- Manage the existing client base of wine clientele at a HoReCa level, and pro actively recruit new HoReCa clients to the company
- Manage and track all quotations, sales & marketing initiatives, and follow through to conclusion.
- Maintain a close business relationship with Hotel and Restaurant Owners, F&B Directors, General Managers and Purchasing officers.
- Manage the creation of wine lists, promotions and distribution
Conduct training courses for HoReCa clients when necessary Provide weekly reporting on prospects, client visits, problems, issues and solutions.
- Liaise carefully with Marketing Dept on activities and promotions relative to the client base
- Responsible for selling Warehouse products within the assigned territories.
- Develop sales in order to achieve targets/KPI’s
- Pursue leads, promote products, process orders and arrange internal/external logistics.
- Work closely with clients, suppliers, finance and other relevant departments.
- Maintain good business contacts to facilitate and strong network.
- Maintain a regular schedule of customer visits to facilitate introducing and selling and our products.
- Arrange meeting with customers and new prospects.
- Gathering market and customer information.
- Checking quantities of stock in inventory and notifying f issues/shortfall/overstock.
- Recording sales and orders and notifying finance/logistics departments.
- Review sales performance and exceeding targets

Job Requirements

- English speaking with reading and written skills.
- Strong communication skills with strong business knowledge in the wine industry especially in the HoReCa Channel.
- Highly motivated with ambition to achieve set goals.
- Prepared to travel to provincial areas (at the company’s expense).
Experienced in FMCG.
- Energy to pursue sales with confidence and determination.
- He is the representative of The Warehouse, ensuring that the policies are implemented, price structure respected and marketing activities are in place.
- Develops and cultivates good customer relations via face-to-face contact.
- Responds to customers' needs, consistent with The Warehouse standards, culture and business practices.
- Identifies and implements solutions to customers' needs/problems.
- Participates/encourages quality assessment, profitability and improvement.
- Generates relevant beverage reports for Managers/employees.
- Pro actively manage debtors to full payment conclusion
- Participate in special projects and performs additional duties as required
- Ensuring the suitable application of the Wine Sales and strategies for The Warehouse.
- Ensuring the development of the activity in terms of sales, clients and image.
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures for sales / logistics / distribution processes are in order for optimal performance of staff.
- Keeping informed of economic, industrial and other trends that affect markets, prices, and delivery conditions.
