We are recruiting an IT Officer to be based in our Yangon, Myanmar office beginning immediately. The IT officer would offer in-site support and assist Stonestep Myanmar on all strategic and tactical matters related to all IT activities related to our Microinsurance Market Development project. The IT Officer will report directly to the Program Manager of Myanmar, and will be the main point of contact between Stonestep's IT Management team in Malaysia, and Stonestep’s client companies in Myanmar.

JOB DESCRIPTION
● Be the main point of contact between Stonestep's IT Management team in Malaysia, and Stonestep’s client companies in Myanmar.
● Coordinate with the IT Manager and support the Developing system requirements for integration: Process integration, User Acceptance Testing, etc.
● Analysing the best IT solutions for establishing an in-house call center and implementing them.
● Offer IT technical support to monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of Stonestep Myanmar office. Install and configure computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.
● Maintain and continually update Stonestep’s existing website (WordPress).
● Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
● Establish rules and procedures to enable the proper implementation of IT systems both for Stonestep and also Client’s needs.
● Capacitate team members and fellow employees in the use of IT systems.
● Define and monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with them.
● Keeping management and clients updated on progress
● Evaluation of each project stage and once completed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● 5+ years of experience in the IT Field
● Experience in System development projects, especially in the implementation phase
● Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or similar
● Professional certificate such as ITIL, CISA, MCSE or MCSA will be advantage


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
● Preferred knowledge of Banking, Microfinance and/or Microinsurance field
● Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
● Excellent team-building, organization and leadership skills
● Ability to command both spoken and written in Myanmar and English.
● Excellent business acumen, leadership and communication skills.
● Fluent in English
