Responsible for providing instructional leadership, managing and leading the staff and overseeing the facility. Responsible for the overall wellbeing of the preschool students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support teaching activities, participate in and provide staff development, have knowledge of curriculum and standards, evaluate the teaching practices of early childhood teachers.
- Monitor and maintain consistent standards for student behavior, provide activities to involve students in all aspects of early childhood school life, monitor attendance, and maintain guidance, health and food services for the children.
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate all staff members, develop and lead, motivate, and provide a positive work environment.
- Develop master schedule and oversee/coordinate scheduling processes
- Participate in teacher / parent communications.

Job Requirements

- Any degree or diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership (DECCE-L)
- Minimum 2+ years of managing a pre-school and minimum 5+ years of teaching experience
- Excellent leadership and strategic decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well aware of early childhood, social/emotional development
