Key Responsibilities/ Accountability:

1. Maintain proper documentation related to imports like import declarations, Invoice, Packaging List, BL/Air-Way Bill, COO, COA etc.
2. Maintain proper tracking system on status of import license, shipment status, containers, shipping documents, invoices from CNF agent
3. Responsible for logistics cost per container, transportation cost and detention and demurrage charges paid by the company.
4. Timely delivery of necessary permits and faster clearance of the consignment
5. Responsibility for managing trucking tender (outbound) and negotiation on warehouses as well

Key Challenges in Achieving Goal(s):

1. Challenges in dealing with vague and discretionary law of Myanmar
2. Challenges in dealing with Custom Officials of Myanmar
3. Challenges in managing cost, where transportation system is not efficient and competitive, where shipping line charges erratic expenses
4. Challenges in managing timely execution of the task

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor or more in Study
Have experience working with freight forwarders, import export, custom clearance
Skill in Microsoft Office Excel
