An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
• Reporting to the Senior Operations and Logistics Manager
• Project Management
o Manage field base camp operations as required, in conjunction with Technical and Drilling Managers (both in Yangon office and on site)
o Arrange all camp logistics including construction, accommodation and supplies
o Oversee camp operations including supervision of camp facilities, and maintenance of generators, pumps, etc.
o Troubleshoot problems and apply solutions
o Manage camp support services such as supply of water and electricity, camp hygiene, fuel supply, food supply and other consumable and mechanical supplies
• Transport and Logistics
o Oversee transportation of incoming and outgoing freight to field projects, and rostered site personnel transport
o Oversee site vehicle rosters for day and night shift crews
o Oversee company-owned and hire vehicle maintenance and hire contracts
• Administration
o Oversee recruitment of site labor including negotiating contracts and salaries (in conjunction with the HR Department)
o Maintain project site personnel lists and procedures for wages payments
o Detailed monitoring of site cash expenses and cash advance reconciliations
• Logistics
o Implement and manage export and import licenses and customs clearance procedures

Job Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree (relevant qualification and systems training associated with Logistics or Business Management is preferable)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills (Myanmar and English)
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with an attention to detail, and to work to deadlines
• At least 5 years’ working experience, preferably with at least 2 years in remote camp management and 2 years in the Logistics sector
• Current Myanmar Driving license
• Able to travel and work in remote regions for up to 4 weeks at a time
