Job Description

Hghly motivated to support procurement manager to do Cost effective products are delivered with timely manner.
To support to manage and optimize supplier relationships and supplier network to ensure overall supplier capacity and capability to support the high business growth.
Engage internal stakeholder Production, QA, sourcing, logistics, planning teams in company and with relevant Operation teams, align supply and new product strategy for critical business decision to ensure activity synergy.
Responsible for assigned purchase activities like sourcing, procurement of material from various vendors.
Responsible for arranging timely payments to vendors.
Support to Procurement Manager when manage and develop the purchasing function for the company.
Consolidate purchasing information and systems and review commodity strategy with the management team.
Support to manage and develop existing and potential supplier pool and update the approval vendor list.
Search for new potential suppliers, develop and set up a supplier database.
Negotiate and set up contracts for the facility.
Effective & proactive with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet purchase deadlines, to bundling of demands for necessary activities of facility.
Support analysis of make or buy decision making in cooperation with management.
follow and reporting of purchase processes SOP as necessary.
Liasioning with related department functional requisitioned to support need basic.
Getting quotations, making comparisons and processing orders based on the approvals.
Responsible for commercial tax (Both Domestic/Import clearance).
Follow up with the supplier/transporter for the deliveries.
Coordinate with the respective departments like Plant/Stores/Finance/Marketing for smooth transactions.
Maintain monthly/quarterly ERP-JDE data for the Ordering status.
Prepare various reports in Excel/PPT for better presentation of the data to Management expectations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• An MBA/ DMA will be highly desirable.
• Should be proficient in English as the 2nd language is necessary
• 5-10 years work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG environment
• Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with strong motivation to deliver cost savings
• Training received in specialized in Sourcing, Purchasing & Material Management Courses.
• Must be computer literate and familiar with email, Microsoft Word and able to prepare Power Point Presentations.
• Must have adequate knowledge & experience in up-to-date software system related to Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Excellent organizational ability, flexibility, confidentiality and attention to detail
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence at Senior Level
• Excellent command of English
• Understanding of contractual law
