o Greeting customers and scheduling service appointments
o Ascertain reason for customer visit through verbal interview and visual assessment of vehicle
o Connect customers with appropriate automotive mechanic or technician
o Consult with mechanics regarding appropriate service options
o Develop as many solution methods as possible, attempting to keep costs low
o Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimates
o Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options
o Advise customers on warranty protections and other potential cost-saving service options
o Track maintenance or repair status, fill out reports on l and cost of all services
o Test-driving vehicles to confirm service repairs
o Estimating the cost and time needed for repairs
o Perform post-service inspection with customers and answer any questions they may have
o Ring up customers at the front desk and facilitate financial transactions
o Perform customer service duties, i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointments, and calling customers to inform them their vehicles are ready for pick up
o Manage shop workflow and schedule for mechanics and technicians
o Support Chief Mechanic for successfully carrying out the Customer Meet and Service campaign activities
o Ensure clean work area, properly store the equipment & tools in designated location
o Adhere & Ensure work place safety for self, peers, subordinates & Customer at all times
o Maintain all records and documents systematically & procedurally
