Position Summary
A Site Engineer must possess supervisory skills and have a solid technical background. The ability to manage labor , material, and perform administrative function is essential.
Job Description
(1). Installs, terminates, tests , troubleshoots and certifies fiber optic , copper cable systems and wireless point to point and multipoint and support structure;
(2), provides first level quality assurance
(3). Manage vendors and subcontractors
(4). Supervises and leads teams to complete project requirements
(5). Develop and maintain red-lined as built annotations to project drawing , proficient in proper installation of structured cable systems devices including conduit , cable trays, racks , patch panels , cable management systems, outlets, jacks, and cable support systems and
(6). Provide technical design / advice and solving problems on site

Job Requirements

Job Requirements
(1) Minimum of 3 year experience in IT/Telecom industry
(2) Able to work independently or as a supervisor of a team to complete fiber optic and UTP cable installation projects
(3) Able to use hands tools and test equipment, OTDRs, power meters, UTP scanners , testing and troubleshooting procedures.
(4) Good knowledge of TCP/IP, CCNA is prefered.
(5) Able to work the challenge of meeting deadlines and project milestone dates.
(6) Able to work in all type of environment (Ladders, lifts , manholes, confined spaces)
(7) Able to work overtime in weekends after hours and travel as needed and 24/7 service call as required.
